Jason Hawk Harris
Jason Hawk Harris, an artist from Austin, TX, is known for blending the raw emotion of americana and country music with his classical training as an orchestral composer. His work is often praised for its cinematic, lush arrangements and deeply relatable, vulnerable lyrics. Harris first gained attention with his debut album Love & the Dark, a personal and haunting exploration of grief, faith, and family struggles.

PRAISE
“If Jason Hawk Harris isn’t selling out the Ryman within the next year or so, something’s amiss. This is a kind of genius ... that should be popular with purists and freewheelers alike.”
“Harris handles dark humor so deftly, you’ll find yourself simultaneously shaking in your boots, shaking with laughter, and shaking your ass.”
“Those who don’t know the name soon will. Those who do know the name have probably been wondering why it’s been so long getting here. But the moment has arrived for Jason Hawk Harris to go from an obscure country songwriter and performer, to a name to look out for.”

SONGS WITH A LOT OF PLAYS
These are songs I have co-written. All of these songs have hit the 1,000,000 plays milestone; two have hit the 5,000,000 plays milestone, and one is fast approaching the 20,000,000 plays milestone. These songs were co-written with Andi Carder during Jason’s years as the guitarist and band leader of The Show Ponies. These songs were also arranged by Jason as well.
